Sunrocks and Shamflowers – December 2023

What a beautiful project to work on! Young musicians from all over Dublin alongside young musicians from all over Ukraine, and the Ukraine Forever choir – 4 months of integration work and fun and laughs and then the finale of all finales, as the entire ensemble cast performed Creep by Radiohead and a Ukrainian translation of Zombie by The Cranberries – Spine Tingling. Not a dry eye in the house!

Garageland Teen Spirit – November 2023

9 Live shows featuring over 30 artists across the country, Garageland Teen Spirit saw young bands and artists perform in a variety of different types of venues from Tramway Theatre in Blessington to HMV in Henry Street, From Toales in Dundalk to The Sugar Club in Dublin. What an amazing series of shows of entirely young performers from all genres and backgrounds!

Garageland at Cruinniú na nÓg 2023

In 2023, while Garageland legends Inhaler were playing at Slane Castle with Harry Styles, we kept the home fires burning big and bright at Athlone town centre, with a massive day of youth music performances and workshops! Inhaler played all of their first shows with Garageland, and it was our pleasure! From November 2016 and their first show with us, right up until the ‘word got out’ in December 2018, it’s been a thrill to watch Inhaler go from strength to strength, and they even thanked us on the first album! See Brinda Irani, Mya Foley, KCD and many many more follow in Inhaler’s footsteps at Garageland Galaxyz 2023 and then again in Garageland Teen Spirit in November 2023.
