Are you a musician or band that would like to know more about how Garageland works?
Would you like to take a glimpse of what takes place behind the scenes of a Garageland Show?
Check out our video below and get an idea of the work that goes into staging a Garage Show, it looks very glitzy at the front when you are seeing the finished product but it involves plenty of graft and twirls!
Garageland is an artist resource which fosters and encourages new artists in music. We stage live gigs for bands and artists in our partner venues throughout Ireland and The UK. These venues include The Sound House Dublin, Drop Dead Twice Dublin, The Grand Social Dublin, Crane Lane Theatre Cork, Pharmacia Limerick, The Button Factory Dublin, McPhails Drogheda, The Islington London. We are supported by IMRO, The Arts Council, RTE, The Daily Star, Hot Press Magazine, IRMA, RAAP, and Dublin City Enterprise Board and we are in partnership with Sound Training College and The Button Factory. We work regularly with youth organizations such as City of Dublin Youth Service Board, as well as Dublin City Council and County Councils to deliver quality bespoke music projects.
Transparency and quality are the dual pillars on which we operate. Artists who started their careers on The Garage Gigs include Inhaler, The Script, Kodaline, Ham Sandwich, Delorentos, Fight Like Apes, Ryan Sheridan. Projects created or produced by Garageland include The Garage Gigs, INDY City Youth Music Festival, The Irish Youth Music Awards (IYMAs), Criunniu Na Nog, Record & Release. Garageland also has a radio show and TV show – Garageland on RTE 2XM and Garageland on Buzz.ie
